Privacy statement
ENSAMIO is an app that choirs, bands and orchestras use to manage their schedule, sheet music and messages. This statement explains which data we process and why. Last updated: 2026-10-17.
Who we are
ENSAMIO is offered by Rick Weegels. Questions about privacy? Email info@ensamio.com.
Who is responsible
We are responsible for your account data and for the use of the website.
The data an ensemble (the organisation) puts in the app, such as the member list, schedule, messages and files, belongs to that organisation. The organisation decides what goes in and who has access; we process that data on its behalf. A data processing agreement is available on request.
Which data
Account: name, email address and an encrypted password.
Profile (only if you fill it in): voice group or instrument, phone number, birthday, photo.
Use of the app: attendance replies, messages, polls, recordings, music files and annotations.
Technical: device and error data needed to run the app and fix faults, and a notification subscription if you enable push notifications.
Why and on what basis
To provide the app and manage your account (performance of the contract).
To keep the service secure and fix faults (legitimate interest).
For push notifications and calendar linking: only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
We show no ads and do not sell data.
Who we share data with
We work with a limited number of service providers (processors): Supabase (database and login, data centre in Ireland, EU), Cloudflare (hosting and file storage) and, only if the organisation links it, Google (calendar).
When payments go live, a payment provider will be added; this statement will then be updated.
Other members of your organisation only see what the organisation and you share.
How long we keep data
As long as your account or the organisation exists. Administrators can delete or export data. After an organisation or account is deleted, the data is erased within a reasonable time, except what we are legally required to keep.
Your rights
You can ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability and object to processing. Email info@ensamio.com; we reply within a month. For data an organisation manages, you can also ask that organisation's administrator.
If you disagree with how we handle this, you can complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl).
Cookies and local storage
The website uses no tracking or advertising cookies. The app stores only functional data on your device, such as your login, language choice and offline music.
Children
Ensembles can have members under 18. The organisation is responsible for obtaining parental consent where the law requires it.

We may change this statement. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
